For his 3rd Blue Note album tenor saxophonist Walter Smith III reprises his Twio concept with a highly enjoyable Vol. 2, a set of classic jazz songs that exudes a playful sense of joyful freedom.

The album features a new cast of musicians including bassist Joe Sanders & drummer Kendrick Scott plus special guest appearances by eminent elders Ron Carter on bass & Branford Marsalis on tenor saxophone.
